Pitbull Disses Lil Wayne In Harlem Shake Remix

Pitbull Disses Lil Wayne In Harlem Shake Remix

To jump on the bandwagon of Weezy haters coming out of the closet recently due to his comments directed at the NBA and Miami Heat, Pitbull releases a new diss song over “Harlem Shake”. Although Wayne was solely talking about the Miami Heat basketball team and mentioned nothing about the city itself, people still got sensitive over the remarks. It seems as though, at least according to Pitbull, if you talk about the Heat, you talk about the city.

I’m sorry, but weren’t the Heat an irrelevant team during the previous existence of their entire franchise except for that one year D-Wade and Shaq got together? Right. No one would have cared about these comments five years ago. Now, that they are relevant and they were lucky enough to get extra publicity from Wayne attending games (pictures all over the internet every day of Wayne at basketball games), they get all touchy when he hates on the team.

Even though he said in a recent interview he did not mean anything towards the city, it seems as though people have been waiting for an excuse to hate on the Wayne parade. I see this going absolutely no where and people really need to stop referencing their sports teams in connection to the city itself. I understand a team represents the city, but by name only. I highly doubt Lebron James himself cares much at all about the citizens of Miami. Neither does D-Wade. I’m pretty sure Chris Bosh is…well just Chris Bosh and is irrelevant to pop culture.

Keep in mind, just a couple months ago Wayne said “Fuck New York”. Do you see us petitioning to have Wayne never come back to NY? If he said “Fuck the Knicks”, I doubt we’d care all that much either. We’d be like, “Okay, screw you, don’t come back then.” Miami needs to take the same course and would be better served to ignore Wayne and say “Go about your life, but we hate you.” No need for letters, coming out of retirement or wasting an entire night to record a terrible remix to send some sort of vague threat that will never come about. Just…stop. You can listen to the song below.
